Open Group Cooking Classes

Check my Shop page and follow me on Facebook and Instagram for announcements of monthly live and recorded group zoom gluten-free cooking classes that are open to the public.

Gather your team, some friends, colleagues, or business associates (in person or on ZOOM), your favorite beverages, and socialize while learning and eating delicious food! I will guide you, and your group, through a fun day or evening of cooking right in your very own kitchen. I believe that the best learning experience comes from using home countertops and equipment, so you will be able to execute these new recipes again and again. Classes are tailored to your own desire and can be designed around a specific diet, food allergies, food preferences or types of cuisine.

**classes can be designed/ tailored for corporate team building**

Classes are usually between 1- 2 hours, depending on the menu, during which time we will prepare 1-3 dishes from start to finish. Shorter, and longer classes are available by request. The class includes pre-planning the individual lesson with you and recipes for all participants.  All menus are custom designed to suit your tastes, skills, and kitchen equipment.

Weekend availability is extremely limited and may need to be booked a few months in advance. Please be prepared to enjoy your class on a weekday or evening and offer three date options when getting in touch, as dates fill up fast. Classes are typically scheduled anytime between 4-8pm but other times are available by request. To inquire about classes please fill out this form on the contact page or email info@chefalina.com

Most Zoom classes are $500 for up to 40 participants.  Live-in-person classes and demos will vary slightly depending on the number of people, location, menu, set-up, etc…

Only have one or two people? If scheduling permits, small classes may be booked for reduced rates depending on the subject and the length of the class.

Birthday, Bachelorette parties, etc… are custom priced depending on group size, party plan, menu, etc…

Once the class has been planned I will provide you with a list of necessary kitchen tools to compare to what you have and make alternate suggestions for things you may not have. For in-person classes, I will provide any necessary tools you may not have.

Cooking healthy, delicious, family-friendly meals can be daunting as we all eat so differently these days. Allergies, dietary restrictions, and tastes can confound even a seasoned home cook. These classes will give you confidence in the kitchen so that you can cook nutritious, delicious meals for yourself and/or the whole family.
We will cover food safety, basic prep skills, and basic cooking techniques that you can use every day in cooking a week’s worth of healthy meals in a short amount of time.

3 class package is $1200 and includes:
– Three – 2- hour classes, with flexible scheduling
– Recipes, Tip & Tricks cheat sheets
– Menu/class planning flexibility

Grab your friends and split the cost! This class is the same price for 1-12 people. You will need to each purchase your own ingredients and will end each class with menus, recipes, and a week’s worth of meals.
Cost does not include food expenses. Once the class has been planned I will provide you with a shopping/pantry list for all the ingredients and kitchen tools.

Cooking classes make a great birthday, graduation, or wedding gift. When you purchase a gift certificate, the recipient will receive an e-card including a message from you (see sample gift certificate e-card here). Menu design and scheduling will work like any other class. The recipient has one year to use the class, though if scheduling difficulties are a factor, I’m flexible in honoring the gift.
